Here, the projects that I’ve been involved, developing, executing and/or managing. Some of this projects are in my GitHub page and the others are simply described but not published because of a privacy policy established by the companies where I have worked.


Project: Genome (The GSF, 2016)

Personal project that will be supported by The Genome Software Foundation after launch. Information about this project will be posted on this blog. Also, you can follow this twitter account for keeping up to date about news and potential releases.

Type: RESTful API + Web App (Private).
Role: Creator.
Build: Ruby/Rails.


Project: OAuth API Base (Personal, 2016)

Project developed entirely in RubyOnRails. This is only a RESTful API created with OAuth ready to be used by anyone, whereby you can use any authentication method implemented (facebook, twitter, google, github, linkedin, among others.)

Type: RESTful API (Public).
Role: Developer.

Project: Prizes (Personal, 2016)

Developed entirely in Rails. This is a simple application to assign prizes to specific visitors of a basic-online-store-website after they subscribe.

Project: Anagram Finder (Personal, 2016)

A basic script made in Ruby that compares every line in a single text file to determine which lines contains anagrams and which ones are ananagrams.

Type: Script (Public).
Role: Developer.

Project: RPA Website (Personal, 2016)

Project developed entirely in JEKYLL. This is my personal site, which has been fully adapted in Jekyll, by which static pages are developed using Ruby gems.

Project: REHAPP (Grupo Virtual Diseño, 2016)

This is a multi-platform project, covering Android and iOS for mobile consumers, and made in PHP for web consumers.This is an entrepreneurship project made by Grupo Virtual Diseño developmental team.

Type: Mobile Native + Web App (Private).
Role: Project Manager.
Build: Java/Android, Swift/iOS, PHP/Laravel.


Project: Tayrona Virtual (Revista Tayrona, 2016)

Project developed with front-end based on HTML5, Bootstrap/CSS3 and JavaScript Libraries (jQuery, Parallax, GMaps, among others). Tayrona Virtual is the website of the Tayrona Magazine, where events and releases of the magazine are published, plus information on its premier event, the Tayrona Awards.

Role: Frontend Developer.

Project: Portal Empresarial (Cajamag, 2015)

Project developed entirely in RubyOnRails, with front-end based on Ruby/HAML, Bootstrap/CSS3 and JavaScript/Angular. Aimed at both web and mobile devices, through which companies have access to information of its employees: subsidy, credits, school kits and others. Also, each company is free to pre-register new employees, and mount information about them.

Type: Web (Private).
Role: Full-Stack Developer.
Build: Ruby/Rails, HAML, CSS3/Bootstrap, JavaScript (jQuery).


Project: Knowledge Base (Cajamag, 2015)

Project developed entirely in RubyOnRails, with front-end based on Ruby/HAML, Bootstrap/CSS3 and JavaScript. This is a knowledge-oriented application (how-to) about all software running on the enterprise. It is adapted as help desk for all employees who depend on the use of any software, to have alternative quick fix for any issue presented on it.

Project: Oculus App (Cajamag, 2015)

Project developed entirely in RubyOnRails, with front-end based on Ruby/HAML, Bootstrap/CSS3 and JavaScript. Oculus is an integrated system for requests, computer equipment resumes and users of Active Directory on the entire company. It was the first project developed in Rails in Cajamag ever.

Project: Portal Afiliados (Cajamag, 2014)

Project developed entirely in Java/JSP, with front-end based on HTML5, Bootstrap/CSS3 and JavaScript. Aimed at both web and mobile devices, through which members can consult all data that the company owns them, through the Data Protection Act. Each user can view their data: subsidy, credit, school kits and others, for which it requires pre-registration to have this benefit.

Project: RUCTP (Clue Code, 2014)

Project developed entirely in RubyOnRails, using a basic front-end made in Bootstrap/CSS3 and JavaScript/jQuery. This project was conducted for Mayor of Santa Marta, more specifically to the Public Carriage Office, which, through this, has control of the driver information (personal details, vehicle driving, subpoenas, courses taken, etc.), passing through the city on buses and cabs, also information for their affiliated companies.

Project: Compass Station (NASA’s Space Apps Challenge Contest, 2013)

This project was developed participating in the NASA’s Space Apps Challenge Contest on 2013, and occuped 1st place in Latin America and 4th worldwide. It’s basically, a compass used to find the real-time position of the International Space Station. This group was composed by Miguel Rivera, Yesica Beltrán, Rafael Linero and myself.

Type: Native Mobile (Public).
Role: Engineer, Tester. Some math performer.
